About

Biomedical scientist from the Federal University of Delta do Parnaíba (UFDPar, 2022). MSc in Psychobiology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN, 2025). Currently a PhD candidate in Bioinformatics at UFRN, advised by Prof. Dr. Rodrigo Dalmolin.

During my undergraduate studies, I held an Undergraduate Research fellowship for two years, studying the influence of genetic markers of neurotransmission on working memory, time perception, and cognitive performance. During my master’s, I researched the molecular and behavioral alterations of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) in a Zebrafish (Danio rerio) model. In my PhD, I continue working on molecular markers for FASD.

I have also taken part in several science outreach projects, such as “Brincando com Genética” (“Playing with Genetics”), the Academic League of Genetics, “Tem Peixe na Praça” (“There’s a Fish in the Square”), and other science popularization activities. I am a volunteer with the Profissão Biotec science outreach team, serving as volunteer experience coordinator. Learn more on the Science Outreach page.
